Since the end of 2018, We has expanded its production capacity by adding two new thread rolling machines, bringing the total to nine.
Grooves in a blind rivet (i.e. threaded surfaces in the body of the rivet and in the mandrel) provide higher anchoring capacity and better mechanical properties. In fixpal products, this fundamental feature is critical for multi-groove rivets and structural rivets. In particular, fixpal structural blind rivets are becoming an increasingly important part of customer purchases. Their grooved mandrels play an active role in the application by remaining locked into the body of the rivet.
The use of thread rolling means that the grooves in the mandrel are the result of material deformation rather than material removal. fixpal rivet cuts grooves on semi-finished products such as rivet bodies or mandrels, as well as finished rivets.
One of the new machines is designed for high production volumes and the other is designed for small sizes, allowing for faster setup and faster changes, and is also suitable for smaller production volumes.
fixpal rivet has long been working on the implementation of 4.0 technologies, connecting the new rolling mill to the company’s network via MES (Production Management System), which guarantees full traceability and continuous monitoring of every stage of production.
